Irvin + Jocelyn - Engagement - Foggy Mountain Adventure in Lake Arrowhead

Here in Southern California, fog isn’t something you can always plan for, so when we do get a little fog, we know it’s going to be a fun session. Irvin and Jocelyn were pretty excited about it too, they knew it was going to make for some pretty awesome photos here near Lake Arrowhead! It also helped that these two are also one of the cutest couples! They were forest ready with their Redwings tied high, we ran around and had a blast just laughing and watching these two fall for each other all over again.

Sam + Alexa - Engagement - Mountain Sunset in Forest Falls California

We absolutely love photographing engagement sessions in the mountains. Sam + Alexa knew that and were so down to take the drive to one of my favorite places in Forest Falls. We love being in our element and creating some epic portraits, and the mountains really brings that out in us. We had so much fun hiking around with these two, getting to know their story and taking some amazing photos with them.

Kevin + Melissa - Engagement - Olvera Street and the Arts District in Los Angeles

What an incredible engagement session we had with these two! Kevin and Melissa took us to one of their favorite places in Los Angeles, we met them at the historic Olvera Street to wander around and enjoy this little hidden pueblo in the heart of LA.

Kevin and Melissa are so much fun to be around, we had an incredible time getting to know each other, laughing, and watching them dance all around the streets of Los Angeles. We also visited the Arts District, which is one of our favorite places to visit, grab some coffee and eat some good food.

This was the beginning of something special, and we cannot wait to be a part of another amazing wedding with this extraordinary couple.

David + Jasmine - Engagement - Redlands Ca

David and Jasmine are such incredible couple. From the minute we met, I knew their wedding was going to be amazing. We met at the J Riley Distillery for their engagement session. It was a special place they loved to go on dates together, we decided to make a date of their entire session.

After having a few drinks, we went to downtown Redlands to explore some of the towns beautiful art installations and get to know each other some more. Their passion and love for each other was clear, and it made for some really beautiful photographs.

We ended our session with some Augie’s Coffee, a Redlands staple and must try when in town. We had so much fun getting to know each other, and this was only the begining!

Luis + Sierra - Engagement - Angeles Oaks Ca

You know it’s going to be an awesome shoot when you pull up to your session, and everything is covered in snow! This was also the first time we met Luis and Sierra in person, and I’m pretty sure we hit it off because we spent the rest of the day laughing and having exploring the Angelus Oaks forest together!

Their pup Waffles also came with them, he loved running around the snow and playing with his humans! This was such a fun shoot from beginning to end. Their engagement session was a blast and we cannot wait for their big day!

Sheen + Dao - Engagement - Murrieta Ca

We spent the evening with Sheen and Dao in Murrieta at the Forever and Always Farm. And you know it was a great session cause we got to hang with our Alpaca friend Ted! It really was awesome just to walk around, get some laughs, feed some alpacas and enjoy the sunset getting to know these two.

Elysia + Lauren - Engagement - San Gorgonio Wilderness

There is never a bad time to head up to the mountains for photos, and both Elysia and Lauren were up for an adventure. We drove up to the San Gorgonio Wilderness and found some beautiful forests for us to play in, but it was even more amazing than we expected. All of the fall colors were in full bloom. We went for a walk through the forest and right away Elysia and Lauren were so comfortable, they had already been excited for this day, and you could tell! On our way out we noticed the clouds rolling over the mountains and all agreed we had to stop and find a place to take some more photos. The weather was perfect this day, and it felt like we could keep taking photos for hours. These two were so fun to be with, they have adventurous hearts and are incredibly in love. Their wedding day cannot come soon enough.

Jonathon + Lane - Engagement - Beaumont, Ca

When Jon told me that him and Lane wanted to do something a little different for their engagement session, it came with no surprise. I have known Jon for some time now, he himself is a creative, and I knew when they had chosen us to be their photographers that our time with them would be anything but conventional.

Jon asked me if i knew of any abandoned buildings or areas covered in graffiti. Luckily for them, I had been eyeing this abandoned house, sitting on top of a hill over looking a valley of fields near Beaumont Ca. How convenient. We took our chances by driving out there and checking it out. Lo and behold, our trip was a success. Not only did we find our way to the house on the hill, but we discovered many more abandoned houses and beautiful fields to fix as our setting. We are beyond excited to photograph these two at their upcoming wedding, it really cannot come quick enough!
