David + Lauren - Beautiful Candlewood Country Club Wedding - Whittier California

David and Lauren’s wedding at the Candlewood Country Club in Whittier, California was a beautiful celebration of love. I had been looking forward to this wedding ever since I had met David and Lauren and we photographed their engagement session.

The entire event was planned and coordinated by Over the Top Events. I have had the pleasure of working with them on several occasions now and they know how to put on a great wedding!

These two had a beautiful ceremony followed by some really great photos around the venue. But they could not wait to be with their friends and family, and as soon as they had their grande entrance, the party began! It was so great to be there and be a part of such a great night!

Sergio + Nicole - Lake Arrowhead Wedding - Citrus Historic Park Riverside CA

I really don’t even know where to get started on this wedding. This day with Sergio + Nicole was truly an amazing day. I talked a little bit about how I originally met Nicole on their engagement session post, and have followed her story meeting Sergio and watched everything unfold. We also had a pretty interesting experience during their engagement session involving some yellow jacket wasps that is worth reading. lol

The day started in Lake Arrowhead where they got ready in separate cabins pretty much across from each other. It was a pretty relaxed morning and the weather was perfect in the mountains. Once they were ready we headed to the church. Sergio and Nicole chose Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church to get married in, and it was a beautiful church. Giant glass windows overlooking mountains and trees. It was perfect.

After a perfect ceremony with family and friends, we headed off into the forest to take some photos! They had a pretty fun idea that incorporated their adventure truck, and we were all excited to get some really cool shots. Sergio and Nicole spend their free time road tripping, hiking, mountain biking, sky diving and adventuring every way possible, and they go everywhere in their 4x4 Toyota that has a tent built into the back. It was really fun finding a place to set it up.

The ceremony took place in the morning and their reception was not planned until the evening, so we took advantage of the day to just have fun going to places and taking photos. After we were done in the mountains, we headed down to Riverside and stopped at In n Out for lunch. Every California Wedding Photographer knows that an In n Out Wedding is always a special thing.

We finally headed to their reception at the California Citrus State Historic Park in Riverside Ca. We were there pretty early, so we once again took advantage and walked around taking some photos in some really great parts of the park. Citrus Historic Park is a staple in Riverside and has so many beautiful spots to take photos in.

The reception was also a blast! They had the dinner, first dance and cake cutting all indoors. But the party was outside in the courtyard under the lights, it was beautiful. We did take some time during dinner to get some beautiful sunset shots in the Orang Groves before the party got started. Everyone literally dance the night away, it was a perfect ending to a perfect day.

Matt + Jessica - Beautiful Wedding at The Oaks at Duncan Lane - Pala Ca.

Matt and Jessica are such an amazing couple. A few months back we got to meet when we did their engagement session, and we had so much fun hanging out. We have been excited about their wedding ever since.

The Oaks at Duncan Lane in Pala California was the perfect backdrop for their wedding. The venue really is amazing, and everything was set up so perfect for their day.

We truly had an amazing time getting to capture these two getting married and have the most amazing time with all their friends and family.

Sam + Alexa - Wedding - Ranch Style Wedding in the Foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains

This beautiful ranch style wedding took place in the foothills of the San Bernardino mountains, in the little known town of Devore. It was a perfect setting for Sam + Alexa who wanted a very intimate wedding with their family and friends.

What was so great about this wedding was all the work they put into the details. Sam and Alexa made most of the decor, and completely constructed the ceremony location that turned out to be just amazing. It was a perfect wedding for a perfect couple. There really isn’t much we can say, you have to take a look for yourself!

Kevin + Melissa - Wedding - Fullerton Ca

There are certain aspects of different weddings that tend to really stick out to us, and we always remember those things when we look back at all the great weddings we have photographed. But Kevin and Melissa’s wedding, EVERY aspect of the day really stuck out.

The day started out pretty casual at Melissa’s house. She had laid out her dress, her shoes, and all her accessories. As we started we also met the videography team from Yours Truly Media, and we hit it off with them right away. And that was only the beginning of a really fun day with them.

We all headed over to All Souls Church in the city of Alhambra. It was a really big beautiful church. The staff there was very welcoming and we had so much fun capturing the beauty of the old cathedral. When the ceremony was over we headed over for a little treat. Melissa wanted to stop by her old work at Fosselmans Ice Cream in Glendora. It was such a cute place to start their photography session. The ice cream parlor has been open for over a hundred years now, it was really awesome to photograph in a place like that with so much history!

We finally headed down to Downtown Fullerton where they were going to have their reception at Villa Del Sol. This was our first time photographing at Villa Del Sol, and we were completely taken back by how beautiful this venue was. We took our time to play around and find awesome places in the venue to take some photos before we hit the streets of Downtown Fullerton for a little session on the streets.

Gino from Euphoric Events Entertainment was our DJ for the night, and man did he get the night started! He kept everyone on their feet all night, we had so much fun dancing with everyone and capturing all of Kevin and Melissa’s family and friends having the time of their lives!

Also had an excellent experience working with the videography team at Yours Truly Media.

Gus + Teresa - Wedding - Pasadena Ca at the Altadena Town and Country Club

Sometimes it is really hard to predict the weather, but when it comes to your wedding day, you should never let that get you down. this wedding was a perfect example of that. It was a gloomy morning in Pasadena California on this day, but both Gus and Teresa were completely unbothered, and completely excited for the day.

Everything took place at the beautiful Altadena Town and Country Club, and they were more than prepared for these types of situations. They had to make arrangements to move the wedding completely indoors, because by the time Teresa had her dress on, it was pouring outside. But the venue made those accommodations in the blink of any eye. And honestly, no one would have assumed any different.

The day stayed on schedule, and went as planned, and everything about this wedding was just amazing. The venue looked great, the details were perfect, and our couple looked amazing. We had a wonderful time enjoying this day along with them.

Tyler + Courtney - Wedding - Rancho Cucamonga Ca

Tyler and Courtney had a beautiful backyard wedding that couldn’t have come together any better. The wedding was held in a beautiful house in the Redhill Country Club area overlooking the beautiful city of Rancho Cucamonga.

I could go on about how perfect everything went from beginning to end, and it did! These two are perfect, and they made sure their wedding was nothing less than, but the reception was one of the most memorable events for us! They had a local band play the night away, and one of the highlights was when Tyler and his friends took over the band to play some of their own hits!

We are so excited for Tyler and Courtney to start their lives together and are so happy we got to share this awesome day with them!

Felipe + Dolores - Wedding - Huntington Beach, CA

We are very fortunate to meet and photograph some of the greatest couples in the world, Felipe and Dolores are no exception. From the day we met, we felt instantly connected to them. They also put together a beautiful wedding at the Newland Barn in Huntington Beach. It was our first time photographing and this amazing outdoor venue. 

Their ceremony took place under a homemade alter, decorated with a floral arrangement. It complimented the greenery over looking the blue sky behind them. The Newland Barn grounds had several places for us to explore and find great locations for their family and bridal party photos. We also walked their beautiful garden and loved their use of space to create intimate moments with our couple. 

We loved watching Felipe be with and enjoy his new wife! When we were done with photos we set ourselves up for their grand entrance. Felipe and Dolores walked down the path to a warm welcoming from their friends and family. The sun was already setting, and the strung lights were lit, which made for a very romantic setting as they danced their first dance.

There were so many amazing details. From the beautiful table decor, the vintage furniture displayed, the fun lawn games and their caterer baking hot pizzas on the spot for everyone to enjoy! We had an incredible time with these two and truly enjoyed every part of their big day!
