Nestled along the stunning coast of California, San Pedro offers a picturesque backdrop for any wedding, and Juan and Dianne’s special day truly exemplified the elegance and charm that this beautiful city has to offer. Their wedding at The Sepulveda Home was a testament to timeless beauty, joyful celebration, and the magical moments that come with marrying your soulmate.

The day began with a sense of anticipation and excitement as guests gathered for the ceremony at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The couple’s enthusiasm and warmth extended to their friends and family, making the entire day a celebration of love and togetherness. The laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts all added to the vibrant and joyful atmosphere that made the day so special.

Throughout the reception, I had the opportunity to capture candid moments of celebration and connection. Whether it was the joyous embrace of friends, the heartfelt speeches, or the exuberant dancing that lasted well into the night, each photo tells a story of a day filled with happiness and love.

As a photographer, it’s days like these that remind me why I love what I do. The elegance of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the sophistication of The Sepulveda Home, and the genuine joy of Juan and Dianne’s wedding made for a truly memorable experience. It was a day where every detail came together to create a celebration that was as beautiful as it was meaningful.

Bryce + Desiree - Beautiful Orange County Wedding by Ulices Del Toro

I met Desiree and Bryce at a previous wedding I had photographed last year. I was so excited when they reached out and considered me to be their photographer. We had a really fun time together when we went up to the mountains for their engagement session which turned out to be a snow covered paradise.

After that day i could not wait for their big day.

The big day was perfect. We started the day with Desiree getting ready at her hotel while Bryce got ready at their house. Everything was super laid back and no rush for anything. What more can you ask for on the day of your wedding.

Everyone headed over for a beautiful ceremony at the Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church. The church was stunning, and the ceremony was went as planned with their closest family and friends.

After the ceremony and some family photos, we stopped by their house to see and take some photos with their doggo Bailey! That was so fun. After a quick pitstop we headed down to Green Cheek Beer Co for a couple of brews and some really fun photos. Aside from Bryce and Desiree both working in the craft beer industry and being close with the owners, this was also the spot where they first met!

We finally ended the night at the reception. They had their grand entrance, danced, ate, partied and took countless photos with all their friends and family. The wedding was really an amazing day and I am so happy I was able to be a part of it.

Alex + Lauren - Intimate Mansion Wedding - Downtown Upland CA by Ulices Del Toro

Alex + Lauren put together a dream of a wedding. This beautiful event was hosted by an amazing mansion home sitting at the top of the city near the mountains over looking Upland California. The event was coordinated and dressed by one of the best teams out there Over the Top Rentals who spent so much time making sure everything was perfect.

There was so much anticipation leading up to this wedding. We have been going over all the amazing details going into this day. The dress, the decor, the car rental, we were so excited about everything and this wedding couldn’t have come together more perfect.

The day started really relaxed as Lauren and her mom prepared to get her into her dress. There really was no rush, the team had everything ready to go, as guests began to arrive. The ceremony took place on one side of the house under some tree cover with trees, flowers and a little bit of the mountain peaking out in the backdrop. Alex was overwhelmed with emotions as his bride came down the aisle. It was so beautiful to see these two amazing people finally get to share this day together.

Once the ceremony was over we drove off in a 1966 Ford Mustang they had rented from Beach Gypsy Classics. The car fit their style so perfectly and it was a fun ride all the way down to downtown. After we set up for the first set of photos we noticed we had more than enough time to do whatever we wanted and we all agreed coffee was in order. We stopped by Rad Coffee in downtown Upland for some cold brew. We had a great time sipping on coffee and taking their photos.

The rest of the night was an epic! After they made their grand entrance driving into the venue, everyone greeted them with so much enthusiasm and ready to party! It was so good to see Alex + Lauren surrounded by all their friends and family, it couldn’t have been a better night.

Sergio + Nicole - Lake Arrowhead Wedding - Citrus Historic Park Riverside CA by Ulices Del Toro

I really don’t even know where to get started on this wedding. This day with Sergio + Nicole was truly an amazing day. I talked a little bit about how I originally met Nicole on their engagement session post, and have followed her story meeting Sergio and watched everything unfold. We also had a pretty interesting experience during their engagement session involving some yellow jacket wasps that is worth reading. lol

The day started in Lake Arrowhead where they got ready in separate cabins pretty much across from each other. It was a pretty relaxed morning and the weather was perfect in the mountains. Once they were ready we headed to the church. Sergio and Nicole chose Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church to get married in, and it was a beautiful church. Giant glass windows overlooking mountains and trees. It was perfect.

After a perfect ceremony with family and friends, we headed off into the forest to take some photos! They had a pretty fun idea that incorporated their adventure truck, and we were all excited to get some really cool shots. Sergio and Nicole spend their free time road tripping, hiking, mountain biking, sky diving and adventuring every way possible, and they go everywhere in their 4x4 Toyota that has a tent built into the back. It was really fun finding a place to set it up.

The ceremony took place in the morning and their reception was not planned until the evening, so we took advantage of the day to just have fun going to places and taking photos. After we were done in the mountains, we headed down to Riverside and stopped at In n Out for lunch. Every California Wedding Photographer knows that an In n Out Wedding is always a special thing.

We finally headed to their reception at the California Citrus State Historic Park in Riverside Ca. We were there pretty early, so we once again took advantage and walked around taking some photos in some really great parts of the park. Citrus Historic Park is a staple in Riverside and has so many beautiful spots to take photos in.

The reception was also a blast! They had the dinner, first dance and cake cutting all indoors. But the party was outside in the courtyard under the lights, it was beautiful. We did take some time during dinner to get some beautiful sunset shots in the Orang Groves before the party got started. Everyone literally dance the night away, it was a perfect ending to a perfect day.

Joshua + Felicia - Incredible Wedding at the Historic Castle Green - Pasadena, Ca. by Ulices Del Toro

Joshua + Felicia had such an incredible wedding at the beautiful and historic Castle Green Vintage Venue. We spent the entire day exploring every side of this place because it was so beautiful. And these two made this place even more special by bringing all of their friends and family. The energy at this wedding was really amazing. From the ceremony, to their entrance down the grand stairway, the absolute insanely great DJ getting everyone on the dance floor, this night was so magical! We are so lucky to have been a part of this day!

Christian + Katrina - Intimate Elopement Style Wedding Redlands Ca. by Ulices Del Toro

Christian and Katrina had one of the most beautifully intimate weddings I had seen. They had their closest family members join them for a short ceremony at their home in Redlands Ca. We made some time to go to a nearby location and take some more photos during sunset. Everything came out so wonderful and it was such a great experience spending time with them.
